I don’t get it. Temperatures the past five or six days have been mid 80s to low 90s—super hot and humid! Right now it’s 8 o’clock at night and the local supermarket has three pallets of firewood on sale out in front of the store. Who’s going to buy firewood in a heat wave?! Did I say, I don’t get it!?

too hot, too humid

not doing much at all

just sitting

 

There we were, us and them—five vultures—just sitting. Interesting how if you sit still long enough, saying nothing, doing nothing but just looking around, you can see life patiently waiting to unfold.
