As a general rule, my words don’t fit the traditional form of 17 syllables in three lines. I like the freedom of free-form haiku. I seldom take time to count out the number of speech units. I go for the look and the feel of it, the rhythm and sound, and easy flow of a moment in time. You might say that I’m just a free-wheeling gal, don’t use the rules that slow me down or get in the way….yet I can. Here’s a 5-7-5!
