After ice cream, walking around the neighborhood. It was a sultry evening. The air was hot and humid, still in the 80s long after 8 o’clock. We were feeling the heat, eyes burning, sweat clinging to our bodies all the way down to our elbow creases. As we walked on slower and slower, the heat seemed to build hotter and hotter. We looked up at the sun.
