This is a photo from the last time I visited the Philadelphia Museum. It could be any time or every time at the museum. People are always standing in line, waiting for their turn to pose with Rocky and connect with his inspiring, uplifting spirit—just for a little while.
It happened in Philadelphia, the movie, ‘Rocky.’ It’s the ultimate, feel-good story of transcendence and simple love. “Movies like Rocky happen once in a blue moon,” one critic wrote back in 1976 when the movie was made. If you listen to the news today, the world now seems to be going crazy and crazier. I think we need another blue moon.
