From ancient times after the great flood, when Noah sent out a dove and it returned with an olive branch (a symbol of dry land nearby), the white dove has come to represent peace with God, innocence, and purity. I’m working on folding a total of 300 white origami doves that will be mounted and hung from a bamboo pole to commemorate the countless innocent lives lost in the Israel-Hamas war.
