up in the sky—
is that a bird? a plane? a fish?
nope—it’s a blimp!
A blimp sighting can be pretty cool! They’re super-huge—150 to 200 feet in length, 60 feet tall, 50 feet wide. There’s something almost magical about seeing this humongous ‘thing’ floating up in the sky. I can’t remember the last time I saw one. A couple of days ago when I first saw this blimp hovering in the air, like treading water, I drove around out of my way trying to get a good picture. I learned later that it was up there taking aerial views of the Truist Golf Championship that was held at the Philadelphia Cricket Club.
